After K-Stew’s movie ‘Camp X-Ray’ premiered at Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 17, it was time to party. The actress had a fun, whirlwind night that made it seem like R-Patz was the last thing on her mind — and an eyewitness told HollywoodLife.com all about it EXCLUSIVELY.
It’s amazing what a little vacation will do. Kristen Stewart has been hanging out in snowy Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, where her movie Camp X-Ray premiered, and on Jan. 17, after the sun went down K-Stew put on her party shoes.
Kristen Stewart Parties At Sundance
Kristen and two of her friends hit up Tao’s Sundance party where rapper Rick Ross was slated to perform, and an eyewitness tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she had a ball all night
The girls sat and drank at a VIP table, and exchanged laughs over funny things on each other’s cell phones. In a dressed down, red plaid shirt, K-Stew appeared to be enjoying her night out, dancing around and even briefly mingling with her Into the Wild co-star, Emile Hirsch. K-Stew didn’t actually stay for Ricky Rozay to perform though, sneaking out just as he was coming in.
Camp X-Ray premiered to mixed reviews, though critics have called Kristen one of the movie’s highlights — so maybe that’s why she was in such high spirits.
Kristen Stewart: No Longer Missing Robert Pattinson?
It may also have to do with the actress starting to overcome how much she’s been missing Robert Pattinson. The on-again, off-again couple hasn’t been together since Thanksgiving, due to Rob visiting his family in London and then heading off to another film shoot.
Kristen was initially let down that Rob couldn’t spend any holiday time with her in Los Angeles — “Of course she was disappointed,” a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, but maybe those bad feelings have passed. It must at least help a bit that K-Stew has her own plans, like Sundance, to dive into.
Kristen also attended the highly-acclaimed dinner series ChefDance returned to the Sundance Film Festival for its 11th year, announcing El Tesoro® Tequila and SUJA Juice as partners for 2014. ChefDance was sponsored by El Tesoro, one of the last handmade tequilas in the world, SUJA Juice and United Airlines brought the country’s finest chefs together with the festival’s acclaimed films and actors, hosting lavish nightly dinners at 427 Main Street, with crafted specialty cocktails and pairing for each night’s menu by El Tesoro and SUJA Juice. United Airlines provided travel for the noted chefs showcasing their culinary skills.
Guests were treated to Sunrider® Specialty Teas and Herbal Beverages are made of the purest, self manufactured and highly concentrated extracts and herbal ingredients. To pair with the chefs’ courses, ApothicWines offered its portfolio of blended wines with its signature bold, unexpected flavors. Marimekko provided the colorful home interiors and Qirra Sound took care of the beats and sound experience for the evening. Specialty cocktails were perfectly concocted with El Tesoro Platinum Tequila, beer provided by Stella Artois, water by Aqua Hydrate, SUJA Juice provided organic, cold-pressured juices and Luxardo Maraschino cherries added the finishing touch to cocktails and select dishes.
